If your
having problems obtaining a loan and you think you have a less than
perfect credit history you will be pleased to learn that there a
number of lenders in the UK who specialise in what is called the sub
prime market.
Most of
the lenders do not deal directly with the public, they operate through
brokers. There are a huge selection of brokers in the UK who
help people obtain loans regardless of CCJ's defaults or mortgage
arrears.
Be
careful when choosing a broker, some will only have limited access to
a small number of bad credit lenders. You will not find a broker
who can give an instant decision online due to the complexity involved
in underwriting unusual cases. Some will give you a AIP
(agreement in principle) within an hour of applying. This could
be based on what you have told them and or what bad credit is showing
on your credit search.
Brokers
are free to place your loan application with any of the lenders they
use, there is no legal reason for offering you the lowest rate they
can obtain so it could pay to shop around.
